[COVERAGE][PRESS CONFERENCE] D-CRUNCH Diamond Stealer in Malaysia 2019

KUALA LUMPUR - D-CRUNCH who also known as Diamond Crunch, the hottest new group from South Korea consists of 9 members which is O.V, Hyunwook, Hyunho, HyunOh, Hyunwoo, Minhyuk, Chanyoung, Jeongseung and Dylan ended their tour in Malaysia succesfully from 22nd March till 31st March 2019.

The press conference for D-Crunch Diamond Stealer in Malaysia 2019 were held on 22nd March 2019 at Cheras 3, Silka Hotel Cheras. The press conference started around 11:00 am with the appearance of the boys at the event room.

The press conference is started with the group introduction and individual introduction of the members followed by Q&A session.

Q&A Session

MC: How do you feel today?

Hyunwook: We feel great and actually have been waiting to be here in Malaysia since our debut because we heard that there are a lot of Diana in Malaysia

MC: This is D-crunch first time visiting Malaysia, what did you think when you hear about coming here to Malaysia?

Dylan: When we first heard that we will be in Malaysia we are very happy and cannot wait to meet the fans in Malaysia. After this we will oftenly come to Malaysia and to the other country also.

MC: Is there any difference between what you think Malaysia will be and what Malaysia really is?

Hyunwook: At first we think that Malaysia is a hot country but actually it feels really similar to summer in Korea.

O.V: The heat feel similar like what we feel after our dance practice.

MC: Speaking of fans, we heard that you have a special name for them. Can you tell us more about it?

Hyunoh: Actually we have been discussing a lot among ourselves before choosing 'DIANA' as our fans name. After a lot of discussion we decide to pick 'DIANA' that mean Goddess of Light and also 'DIA'= Diamond + 'Na' that mean Me in Korean language which mean 'My diamond that shine for D-crunch'

MC: How does it feel to meet your fan?

O.V: Firstly we are very grateful towards the fan that are waiting for us here and hopefully fans can enjoy the whole tour with us.

MC: Is there any special performance you prepared for promo tour in Malaysia?

O.V: Actually we have been thinking a lot on what to show to the Malaysian Diana so we have prepared a stage where everyone can enjoy themselves.

MC: Who is the person/artist that inspired you to be an idol?

Hyunwook: We have a few role model since our debut and one of them is BTS. We choose BTS because they always give their best performance on all of their stage and we hope we can give the same energy to our fans just like them.

MC: Is there any Malaysia food that you would like to try?

Hyunwook: We would like to try Nasi lemak that is a traditional food of Malaysia.

Before resuming with the Q&A session, the MC ask each of the member to show their own special talent. Hyunwoo start the session by showing his talent in singing. He choose to sing 'There's Nothing Holding Me Back by Shawn Mendes. Dylan with the help from Hyunwook, show the imitation of Pikachu's voice.

Hyunwook continue by showing his talent in singing and sing a song from Michael Jackson. Continued by Hyunoh showing how he can make a trumpet sound with his mouth. Chanyoung showing off his talent by freestyle dancing to any song and also show off his flexibility in limbo game. Hyunho can produce a smoke from his mouth while O.V show a magic trick where he pull an invisible string from his mouth.

Continued with Minhyuk who show his cute side with doing an aegyo and Jungseung shows that he have a bigger thumb from the other people by comparing it with Dylan.

After the short segment, the MC continued with another Q&A session.

MC: Describe the person next to you in five(5) syllables.

Hyunho to Minhyuk : 짱-잘-생-겼-어 (Very handsome)

Minhyuk to Hyunoh: 뭘-해-도-이-뻐 (Beautiful no matter what he do)

Hyunoh to Hyunwook: 왕-자-님-같-에 (Looks like a prince)

Hyunwook to O.V: 기-쟁-이-오-뷔(Talented O.V)

O.V to Dylan: 촤-강-귀-여-미 (Best at acting cute)

Dylan to Chanyong: Ve-ry fle-xi-ble (Very Flexible)

Chanyong to Hyunwoo: 안-경-미-남-우 (Handsome Woo in glasses)

Hyunwoo - Jungseung: 나-도-막-내-다 (Am a youngest as well)

Jungseung to Hyunho: 올-팀-비-주-얼 (All team visual)

MC: Any hardship that you guys face on building the teamwork?

Hyunwook: We have been together for 365 days and 24hours a day so are a lot of time where we are face with conflict. During that time usually we will talk with each other and have a discussion to solve the conflict.

MC: Can you share some tips on the most important thing to buld the teamwork in a big group?

O.V: We always discuss together on how to improve our teamwork.

Hyunwook: If we have any problem with ourselves we will discuss and talk with each other.

MC: Congratulations once again to D-crunch form winning the 1st place at '2019 Dream Star Audition in Japan'. How is you feeling while competing in this competition?

Dylan: We did not expect we can win this competition because we thought that we are not performing well. But we are really happy when we get the award and we feel thankful towards DIANA for making all this happen.

MC: Is there any mission you want to accomplish this year?

Dylan: Our goal is to make more fans oversea and communicate with them. We want to achieve greatly in oversea and will keep on doing our own song and choreography and show to DIANA our great performance and music.

Before ending the press conference MC open the slot for media to ask some question to the member.

Media: Can you rank yourself and your member according to the most handsome to the least one?

O.V: This is such a hard question for me to answer but all I can say is there is no rank between us and we are all the same.

Media: To Dylan , how does it feel to be the maknae of the group?

Dylan: Because we are all the same but I don't feel like I am the maknae of the group.

Media: Is there any malay word that you learn before coming here?

Hyunwook: We have learn a little bit of Malay language but we still a bit unfamiliar with the word so we will take the opportunity from this tour to learn more after this.
