PETALING JAYA - The Korean idol boys group THE KING came to Malaysia for The King Get-Together Tour Party in Malaysia 2018. THE KING came to Malaysia from April 27th to May 1st, 2018 for a five days promo tour. THE KING is a five young man group from South Korean whom made their debut back in 2012. They are Choi Rang (27) , Sejin (26) , Donghyeok (25) , Seungjae (24) and Bawool (23). Since debut, they mainly focus on Hip-Hop and R&B genre. Before their debut, they actively took part in various performance inclusive to perform at Hongdae, Korea and Japan. The five boys ended their promotion tour here in Malaysia successfully and will continue their tour soon to Thailand and other countries.

On the same day as the press conference, their first showcase was held at the Atria Shopping Gallery that started around 8PM. The showcase then started with the introduction from the emcee, Rya Yahaya and continued with the boys performing two of their songs, 통수<Look Back> and 운명<Destiny>. After their performance ended, the showcase then continued with the Q&A session.

Q&A Session :

Q: Introduce The King latest album and your experience in preparing the album 'Look Back'.

Sejin: 'Look Back' is a song that someone receive all the pain after breaking with their love one. There is special experience when preparing this album. First, this is our first time shooting a music video and the weather is so cold that day. Second, there is two drons that we use for this music video but one of it fall and broke. So, please give a lot of love to this song.

Q: Share with audience, what Bahasa Malaysia word that you want to learn and in return what Korean word you want to teach Malaysian Fans.

DongHyeok: Because I really like to eat, I want to learn how to say if I want to ask where the best to go.

Fan : Nak makan mana?

DongHyeok: Since theres a lot of fans coming to Korea for vacation, so I'll teach you guys how to ask road in Korean language. 여기 어떡해 가요? (Fans follow easily). Wait, you suppose to not know that word. Please act like you dont know and follow slowly (ask fans to follow him slowly)

Q: If The King is given half day for self activities is KL, where and what The King want to do?

Sejin: I want to go somewhere nice and eat together with fans.

Choi Rang: I just want to sleep and eat. (joke)

DongHyeok: For me, I want to take away delicious food and exercise.

SeungJae: I would like to buy food and coffee.

Bawool: I want to meet with my fans and go for a 2 hours walk at Mont Kiara.

After the Q&A session ended, they continue the showcase with their third and forth song, 눈꽃<Makes Me High> and 이상하다<Strange>. After performing these two songs, the boys then take a short break backstage. After a few minutes, they then continued with their last song, 바다,너랑<Ocean and You>.

The showcase then continue with the game session with fans wheres they played Bola Beracun (poison ball). In this game, fans and The King need to standing side by side , passing the ball to the player beside them and when then music started and all the players have to start to pass the ball. Once the music stop, the player were disqualified if the ball is on the person's hand. The game then continued until final winner were choosen. The winner then received signed rugby ball by The King members and a group photo.

After they are done with the game session, The King members took another break to prepare for the Selfie, High-touch session and also a Group photo session. The event then ended with fansign session which started around 9.30PM and ended around 10PM.
